Services

This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to discuss any and all concerns you may have about your student's learning. The initial consultation often includes:

• Review any previous testing or evaluations. 
• Discuss any social, emotional, or academic concerns that you feel may be affecting your child's learning. 
• Sketch out a plan for how to proceed in the special education process.

• Letter writing in compliance with current state and federal guidelines.
• Analysis of evaluations and testing.
• Analysis of current IEP/504 academic goals and accommodations.
• Goal and accommodations writing.
• Meeting attendance at all school meetings.
• Inform parents and caregivers of their parental rights as guarenteed to them by state and federal law.
• Vetted recommendations for evaluators, tutors,  and educational programs designed to meet your child's specific needs.

 My goal is to help your child achieve their full potential while allowing you to focus on being the best caregiver possible.  Being a parent of two special education children, I can testify  to the rapidly rising costs associated with meeting their needs.  Therefore, I offer an hourly rate of $100/hr., not to exceed $500 for all services provided through the signing of the first IEP/504.  Any additional services provided after the first signed IEP/504 will be billed at the $100/hr. rate. 

All services will be billed by the 5th  of each month and are itemized describing the time spent on each service.  Payment can be made through cash, check, or credit card.

Billable services include:

• Letter writing.
• Analysis of evaluations and testing.
• Analysis of current IEP/504.
• Goal and/or accommodation writing.
• Attendance at school and parent/advocate initiated meetings.
• Phone calls exceeding 15 minutes with school staff, parents/caregivers, professionals.
• Travel time to and from meeting sites.  Travel time is calculated using Google Maps fastest route.
